How do I register to vote?
You must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Willington, and be at least 18 years old, by the date of an election or referendum. 17-year-olds may pre-register if they will be 18 by the next election. In order to vote in a primary, you must be enrolled with the party that is holding the primary.
You may register using any one of the following methods:
- Fill out an online voter registration application at https://voterregistration.ct.gov/
- Appear in person at the Registrar's or Town Clerk's office and complete an application
- Applications are also available at any public library
Once the Registrars have processed your application, you will receive a letter of acceptance or rejection within 7 to 10 days.
