SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES to FILL BOARD VACANCY

Also Present: Erika Wiecenski, 1st selectman; Fred Schoen

Call to Order

Chairman Jim Bulick called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm.

Present to speak – no one

New Business 

Appointment of a Board of Finance Alternate Member, filling the vacancy left when the term held by Republican Annemarie Poole expired on November 21, 2017. The appointment ends at the next municipal election on November 5, 2019.

Chairman Bulick said that he only received one candidate endorsement via letter from Secretary John Blessington of the Willington Republicans: Fred Schoen.

Peter Tanaka motioned to seat Fred Schoen as alternate to fill the vacancy till the next municipal election, Mike Makuch seconded.  All were in favor, motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:17 p.m.
