Regular Meeting

 

Election of Officers

 

R. Belair motioned to elect Andy Marco as Secretary...  J. Lucia seconded the motion.  All in favor. 

 

Public Hearing:

 

PZC2017-28 Application for a Home Occupation for transfer and sales of firearms at 63 Mihaliak Road (Map 45 Lot 1 Zone R80)  (Received November 21, 2017 Public Hearing December 5, 2017 Decision within 65 days after close of PH

 

Applicant explained that the laws had changed and therefore he needed a Special Permit to conduct transfer and sales.

 

Chairman Parcell asked if there was anyone present to comment on the application. A neighbor was present in support of the application.

 

Chairman Parcel closed the Public Hearing.   

 

 

Old Business:

E. New Business:

 

PZC2017-29 Request for regulation change for allowed uses in a designed industrial zone. Applicant: FedEx Ground Package Systems (Received December 5, 2017 Public Hearing January 16, 2018 by February 6, 2017 decision within 65 days after close of P.H.)

 

G. Minutes

 

J. Lucia motioned to approve the November minutes. D. Roberts seconded. R. Blair abstained. Unanimous.

 

H. Correspondence

 

I. Public Comment

 

The Commission will hear brief comments at this time for anyone wishing to speak. No business can be conducted here nor can any comments be made about any public hearing items

 

J.  Staff Report/Discussion

 

Staff is having an ongoing discussion with the Land Use Attorney re; live entertainment.  He needs more information regarding drafting of the regulation change. The Commission asked that the Attorney formulate a draft based on a set of existing regulations that he thinks works and the Commission will comment on those.
