Early Childhood Programs

Keep your family's budget in-check, while still providing your youngster with
opportunities to learn, grow and play!
All Early Childhood programs are held at the Willngton Public Library.
Caterpillar Club: Willington's FREE parent-child play group! This volunteer-staffed, interactive play group is designed to provide children, ages 12 months to 4 years, a fun, safe, and affordable environment in which to socialize, learn, and play together! Parents have the opportunity to interact with thier children, others' children, and one another.

Toddler Time Programs are only $5.00 per 21/2 hour class!Come only when it works for your family's budget & schedule!
Toddler Time Music & Movement: Music & Movement classes are professionally staffed, and specially designed for young children ages 12 months to 4 years.These classes provide opportunities for children to sing, dance, tumble and interact with other children in a safe, structured environment.

Toddler Time Pre-School Activities: Pre-School Activities classes are professionally staffed and spcially designed for children ages 24 months to 4 years. These classes guide your youngster through activities such as cutting, pasting, simple letter formation, circle time, and other activities associated with pre-school level acheivements.

New Horizons Girls Club: For girls in both Center Elementary (grades k-3) and Hall Memorial (grades4-6)!
This fun and ecomonically-priced group helps today's girls become tomroow's community leaders. The group focusses on self-knowledge and direction,leadership skills,development, and friendships as support systems. Some examples of projects completed by the 2009-2010 CES and HMS Girls Clubs are:Making decorations for the Town Halloween Party, Thanksgiving & Holiday cards for baskets to needy families, Valentine's decorations for the Willington Senior Center, "Willington" T-Shirt kit assembly for Willington Day 2010, and much, much more!
