Call to Order
M. Makuch, Chair, called the meeting to order in the Community Room at the Town Office Building at 7:10 p.m.
Present
Board Members: H. Arico, T. Gareau, C. Mailhos, M. Makuch, C. Psathas, L. Semprebon. Also: Superintendent, D. Harding, HMS Principal, D. Sullivan, CES Principal, C. McNamara, Pupil Services Director, H. DiBella-McCarthy, Town Business Manager, D. Latincsics, CES teachers, C. Wilde, N. Petit, Board of Finance Vice-Chair, K. Schoppmann.
Absent
D. Tharp, on active duty.
D. Harding presented the proposed Board of Education budget for 2008-2009.
MOTION #1
L. Semprebon moved to accept the proposed budget with the addition of a third paraprofessional for kindergarten. C. Mailhos seconded. Passed unanimously.
MOTION #2
H. Arico moved to adjourn the meeting. L. Semprebon seconded. Passed unanimously.
