Call to Order
M. Makuch, Chair, called the meeting to order in the Community Room at the Town Office Building at 7:10 p.m.
Present
Board Members: H. Arico, T. Gareau, C. Mailhos, M. Makuch, C. Psathas, L. Semprebon. Also: Superintendent, D. Harding, HMS Principal, D. Sullivan, CES Principal, C. McNamara, Pupil Services Director, H. DiBella-McCarthy, Town Business Manager, D. Latincsics, CES teachers, C. Wilde, N. Petit, Board of Finance Chair, K. Schoppmann.
Absent
D. Tharp, on active duty.
D. Harding presented the proposed Board of Education budget for 2008-2009.
MOTION #1
L. Semprebon moved to accept the proposed budget with the addition of a third paraprofessional for kindergarten. C. Mailhos seconded. Passed unanimously.
MOTION #2
H. Arico moved to adjourn the meeting. L. Semprebon seconded. Passed unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 9:44 p.m.
